Brought my mare in this morninging and she very nearly slid over, her legs were going in all directions. We made it safe into the stable, shes been in all day and is staying in tonight, she doesnt like the cold....bit worrying as she is a Clydesdale and should be tough enough!! Will go back down at 5 to put her in her pyjamas for the night.

My 2 live in but I took them to the field this morning and had to walk very carefuly along the lane. Manni was trying to hurry along and Toby was trying to walk carefully, my arms were in all directions! Eventually managed to get them to both walk on the grass verge where it was wide enough.

Had to repeat the process after lunchtime to bring them in they both hurried as they were keen to get their lunch.

Dont worry! My Cob has a lot of Clydesdale in him and he has TWO rugs on suitable for a skinny old TB! He still stands there looking sorry for himself and feeling cold...Whimp!!
