Bandage help please!!

Okay think im being dumb!! I need to get bandages for travelling and didnt realise there was so many different kinds!
Anyway i was thinking of getting a pair of these >http://www.derbyhouse.co.uk/Equestr...s+and+Pads/Jumpers+Polo+Bandages_311-0035.htm as they match the colour of his travel rug, but is it okay to use them, also i know you need to put some kind of pad underneath them if any of you can reccomend me a bandage pad to put under it would be much appreciated???

They look fine! I would get the travel pads to go under as they are long and cover the hocks etc for extra protection like these

Bandaging safely is such an art, if you're not experienced doing it then don't as you'll certainly do more harm than good. Why do you need bandages specifically?

Dont really need pads that go over the hock as got hock and knee boots for extra protection anyway so just the half size kind of one will be fine.
Ive been taught how to bandage by our vet when i was on work experience
Just dont want travel boots as my pony never got on well with them and i kinda prefer bandaging if im honest

When I travel my pony in bandages I just use ordinary fibergee under stable bandages then overreach boots all round and knee and hock boots. And she wears a tail guard or a tail bandage depending on which one I can find first.

This is exactly what im planning!! Do you think polo bandages will be okay then??
