Like Ice rapidly warms up to body temperature and then loses any possible benefit.
It has long been said that the only benefit of leaving it on overnight is that it forces the owner to hose it's horses legs in the morning.
Imagine having dried up papaer and clay stuck on your leg all night. Comfy?!!
I have usually put so much on that her legs are still sticky in the morning. I am afriad with my gal still competing at 21, I really believe in the stuff.
I also applied it to her legs nearly five hours ago and my hands still feel cooler and tingly.. and ive had a shower! So sorry, but I dont agree that it dosnt have any affect. (Just my opinion having felt it myself)
But with bandages on top....... I guess that would warm up x
i put on like ice after XC and travel home with it on (covered in paper bags or cling film) then when i get back take off the paper/ cling film but leave the Like Ice to dry overnight and brush in the morning.
stables bandages- agree about 12 hours (so overnight or during the day
