Bandages question and matchy matchy help

Hi all :) I have a quick question about bandages. I have a set of red bandages from Roma, they are the acrylic type, do these need gamgee underneath them or are they ok without, just like fleece bandages?
And another question about bandages. I have a set of white bandages, which I don't use because I hate putting white on my grey because no matter how much I clean her, she will never look as white as the bandages so she looks dirty :o does anyone have any ideas of how to dye them baby pink? I want a baby pink matchy matchy set, and an orange one and a pistachio one, but it'd be cheaper to buy the saddle cloth on it own and just use the bandages I have, so any ideas of how to dye them baby pink? Orange and pistachio sets I like the HKM sets so i'll just buy those as and when I have spare money.
Any ideas?

Add some red knickers to your washing maching wash white bandages and hey presto pale pink bandages, or if you wanted a more professional look you could by some dylon fabric dye and dye them in a bucket of cold water and salt.

Acrylic bandages should have gamgee under them :)
