Does anyone have any opinions on the bandages you can buy with 'attached' padding - so the first bit of the bandage you put on is padding, and then in the middle it starts rolling out elastic bandage...? I bought myself a pair of these bandages as they were on sale, but I don't know if I like them... as the padding goes on in rolls rather than flat, I wonder if the ridges would create pressure on the tendons if used for long periods?
So, does anyone have any experience/ opinions/ views on this sort of bandage?

I also agree to that, but that would apply to any type of elastic bandage. I might add that I am a capable 'bandager'

. The other ones I saw (not in sale) were fleece and elastic though. Maybe I'll stick to my polo bandages instead!

I have some, whilst they work very well I don't think they look as nice as polo bandages with seperate padding underneath.

I got some cheap ones from Lidl, and TBH have only used them to dry off her legs once, for which they were fine.
I'm not sure I'd like to ride her in them though - I'm not convinced the padding is thick enough to be of any use.

I bought some of these also (an Eskadron) set.... they have the eskadron "climatex" material as the padding, then elasticated material for the bandage. I absolute fell in love with them in the shop but now? Not so keen.

I, like the OP, dont like the fact that the padding goes on in strips rather than a whole wrap

Added to the fact its an elasticated bandage and i just think it screams of uneven pressure issues.

Quickly diverted back to polo bandages with the eskadron climatex wraps underneath.

i was taught that you never sue polo's with pads, one would use polo's only to exercise or to keep ice, peas on legs, by putting pads under then one would restrict movment and then all sort can happen, good old polo's are all you need!
