The Eskadron climax banadage pads are really good.

I don't mean to sound rude (its not my intention!!) But as you say to 'practise bandaging' do you have someone that can watch that knows what they are doing? Just as bandages can be such a pain some times!

yea i do have someone to watch me bandage dont worry

theres a horse at the yard that needs bandaging and cold hosing and cold bandaging etc all the time, so i have been learning and practising on her with a girl that knows how to bandage

Cool - cos til you get use to it its all fingers and thumbs!!! (nothing worse than droping a clean bandage in a puddle as you are trying to put it on!!!)

I use fleece bandages without padding. Be careful as you can cause horrendous problems if the bandages are too lose, too tight, or have uneven pressure. But I'm sure you will be fine

I use Eskadron Climatex pads with fleece bandages (I like the Busse ones as they are nice and wide, but he has a few Waldhausen and Eskadron sets).

pads under bandages help to distribute the pressure evenly - you 'should' always have padding under any type of bandage, however I quite often don't when using fleece bandages - but always do when bandaging my youngster
