Following the recent posts about booting and bandaging, i'm confused.
I can't work out the putting the strip down the tendon, surely when you 'fold' the bandage to do the rest of the leg it has a lump or a kink?

So, can someone please give me an idiots explanation as it's really starting to bug me.

I always bandage the little one (I can't find decent boots small enough!) so if there's something that would offer his legs more protection I'd like to know how.

Hope this makes sense, and thank you very much.

Polo wraps this works with only!
Have a long tail to the end of your bandage, and start with the end diagonally accross the back of the knee loose end up towards shoulder.
do one wrap around and then you sould be able to fold the end down flat down the tendon.
The "tail" of your bandage only wants to be long enough to go down the tendon to the fetlock.

That prob doesnt sound like it makes sense but i cant find any diagrams or word it any better.
Dunno if u search polo banadaging anything comes up?

AHA! OK, now i get what you lot were talking about, that is how I always bandage with a tail end out, wrap once round, put tail end down and then bandage around to bottom and then back up! I was thinking you did somethig wierd like double over the bandage down the tendon LOL!

Actually, I am now thinking, do I leave the strip up, bandage all the way down, and THEN put the strip down and bandage back over the top of it

I am going to have to go bandage something and get back to you!
