Bandaging without gamgee?

Hi guys,

Iv run out of gamgee & Wondered if anyone knows if its safe enough to use fleece premier equine stable bandages without gamgee for the purpose of keeping horses white legs clean overnight before a show?

As long as you put them on properly (rolling them on as opposed to pulling them on) I don't see why not and only have them on for as short a time as possible although you could of course just get up half hour earlier and wash legs in the morning instead to be on the safe side if you're not competent at bandaging.

If overnight, I honestly wouldn't...I'd just wash in the morning and maybe spray or wipe with baby oil to prevent stains being too bad overnight.

It's a long time to leave them on if a little tight or uneven and if you roll being careful not to get them too tight, they could end up too loose and you won't be there if they come undone and horse gets tangled.
