I would say he's an oldie -- 25 plus? Its just the withers!!

To tell you the truth, the second photo looks like two photos - a lovely body ...and a lovely head - but they aren't fitting together. Sorry if you have just bought as a three year old...

Lovely kind eye though..have I redeemed myself yet? Realy nice boy ...looking again....is he 2? Ok...I suck.

I would say a TB or TB x aged around 4/5 years old.
In the top picture horse looks poor. Slightly ewe necked. Lack of muscle tone and condition. Angular sloping hindquarters usually seen on a horse which has lost condition or else a youngster needing to grow and fill its frame.
Either way if the same horse ( am presuming that is so?) on the second picture it looks much better. Body score is more comparable with a horse that looks in tip top condition

The horse looks to have been fed up, toned up ( top line much improved) and generally looks a lot better and older too.
What is the time difference between the two pictures being taken as they were obviously not at the same time as it looks to me that at least several months had passed between the first and second picture.

Answers then?

First pic was
