Bang to the leg (&general moan!!)

Doog has been off for a about 10days with an abscess, this is all (touch wood) sorted now he has been shod with pads to stop it happening again (was a stone).

Been riding for a week now and have an event Saturday get him out the stable this morning he has a lump on his leg where he has knocked himself and is slightly lame in trot grrrrr soooo annoying. Ive cold hosed and put ice on it and put him out as he is bound to do more damage in his stable!! Whats the likely hood of him being sound by at least tomorrow!! Am so fed up

If he's lame in trot today, I certainly wouldn't risk competing him Saturday. And if you risk it and he was still a little lame, you might get eliminated for unsoundness (depending on the event). I don't suppose he meant to hurt himself so maybe a carrot and a cuddle so he knows you still love him?
