Don't you love it when you find adverts of horses you know/knew, which the description is nothing like what they actually are?

*bangs head*

Since coming back into horse ownership I have been shocked at how horrible and dishonest people are when it comes to selling. It makes me really sad especially after my own experience luckily I walked away but I can see how people wind up with horses that are either mentally or physically damaged or not right for them.

YES! I know the exact feeling! *facepalm*

Tell me about it.

If it wasn't so far away, I'd be half tempted to view, try and see if it was truthful or not [if by some chance said pony was now as described after a month or so since I last saw it!].

Lol.. Mine looked just like his pics..suspect his papers were ..er, um, fabricated. Did inform them he was chestnut and not palomino.

Oh yeah, found my old pony advertised for sale and in advert said he'd hunted with previous owner. Not with me (we had him from 2 year old) not with next owner as I'd kept in touch with him, so not sure who had hunted him. Was funny but hope nobody bought him thinking he would make a lovely childs hunter

Oh dear :/

One I was on about is meant to be suitable for a novice and not spooky.....Hmm. When I knew him, I'd beg to differ!

Oh yes and recently .. the crap that comes out of this persons mouth is unbelievable ... no literally NOT believable!!!

Sent them a message saying they really should disclose the fact the horse isnt as sound or capable of what they have advertised it at

Yes there's one doing the rounds on the Facebook groups at the mo, that I know is mostly stretching the truth at best.

It's being sold because of an injury and its no longer up to much jumping, which is what current owner wants to do, fair enough, except there is no mention of this fact in the ad, it even states it is capable of jumping a decent course. Makes me furious.
