I had a lovely day today despite the rain. Puggy (better known on here as my ‘old boy) was 6th in a strong Veteran class even with him putting in some unrequired movements in his show which made the judge laugh… 
he wouldn’t be Puggy though without the character though! He also won a prize for being the oldest horse in the class. 
We decided to take Bella today for her first ever show just for some experience and honestly she blew me way she was foot perfect. We did in hand today but I think she’s more than ready to have a go at some ridden classes too. We came 2nd in the Inhand Veteran, 1st in Prettiest mare and 1st in Best Condition and got into the Championship. 
She has qualified for the ESUK Championships and the Regional VHS finals. 
We received some lovely comments and I couldn’t be happier with her, she has come such a long way. some photos of Bella below and some will come soon of Puggy when the photographer uploads them.

that’s partly why I took him for a change of scenery and to give him something else to think about mentally.
