How are all the clan after their injury spells? On the mend I hope?
Hows the little donkey and the rest rescued from holmefirth?
And of course - the most important question of all - hows the big guy?

Hi Karen

Todd went out this morning and appears to be perfectly sound again thank god, I'm sure he only did it because he knew he was meant to working on Sunday

Tilly's wound is healing up nicely too.

Petals's abcess has burst and she is still on abx but fine in herself. Colts we bought at Holmfirth have been gelded now and we are still awaiting Dora's foal to make an arrival.

Sid is just as gorgeous as ever but was a bugger for the farrier, in fact he wouldn't let him near so he missed out and will be done hopefully this week, it wouldn't do to have chipped toes when Mum and Dad come to visit

Brighteyes, Teddy is doing really well, he's a bonny pony and very bold. He did try to rule the roost but Kai, my retired shire put him firmly in his place

All in all I think I've seen more of my vet the last couple of weeks than I have Dave but tbh, he is very easy on the eye so no real hardship

Down girl!! mind you our vets are all rather nice on the eye too!
sorry sid was a sod - i will have to have words when i see him on sunday. Big git!
As for Todd one senses that horse knows exactly what side his bread is buttered on and didn't fancy having to break into a sweat!
Has sid stopped lusting after the donkey yet?

toni is having to close her forum, sadly...

and i believe she is struggling ATM to raise funds.....(sorry BER if i'm speaking out of turn)

i'm thinking of a way we on HHO could help her out.......a very low cost fund raiser perhaps?

will go off and have a think.......

Perhaps a photo thing / whip round at the party / raffle (if we all donated something) / an article in one of the horse mags / "virtual" table top tack sale (with say £2 - £3 ) to be allowed to have a "table".
erm........
I'll keep thinking

We need to pull together and do something to help BER, It was only last week she agreed to take on a young healthy pony that would have otherwise been PTS.

Could this years Lady Godiva be used for BER?

I would be so much happier to get my kit off for such a good cause where I know every penny would be put to good use, than for a large organisation where it would mostly go on wages

How about a virtual dressage test competition? All tests are filned and put onto DVD without being edited and then sent to one person. With entry money going to Toni?
I'm currently filming one tonight to send off to another club I belong to, but its a way of having fun and raising some much needed cash!
