Can anyone recommend a place to get some?
Not fussy as to what kind but OH has been trying to hatch ours in an incubator and nothings happening!
They never hatch under the broody hen either.
Figured maybe we’d try another approach, but want a decent seller. Loads on eBay but is that an ok place to buy?
Thanks

bantam is a size not a breed, so maybe why nothing comes up in searches. Hatching egg prices have gone up the same way horse and dog prices have. I sell on eBay. but large fowl not bantam Brees unfortunately. Some decent breeders do. Lots of chancers do as well. If your only requirement is bantam sized then you should be fine on eBay. Just be aware the post does horrible things sometimes so maybe look local. Preloved is the other place people sell now Facebook has put a stop to it.

You cock might not be firing blanks. If you have very heavy soft feather breeds you may need to trim them back in the required area to allow fertilisation to occur.

I buy hatching eggs from ebay, varied hatch rate usually a 3rd hatch tops, the travelling doesn't do them any good, .I have 12 Black Copper Maran eggs, 6 Warren eggs, 6 Silver Cuckoo Maran eggs and 6 of my own Black Coppers and Welsummers eggs in my incubator at the moment.I suspect percentage wise, more of mine will hatch as they haven't been through the postal system.I incubate/hatch about 60 pheasants a year too in the incubator but do get a lot of splayed feet and other defects as well as lots of late deaths in shell .
I have a bantam or two but they are being treaded by a Black Copper Maran so the chicks would not be pure bantam size should I try to hatch them or send you some.
If you use ebay for hatching eggs, be prepared for poor hatch rates. If you want 6 hens/cocks try hatching 24 and you might get 6-7, good luck, Oz
PS here's another source and where I advertise surplus stock occasionally
