Hi all, i thought i would join you and let you all know of an event coming up !
First of all , mu dad gor diagnosed with this condition 6 months ago and currently undergoing radiotherapy.
it hit my heart , and made me want to raise more awareness of prostate cancer.
so what better way to gain male attention than to do something in your underwear...
so , to raise money and awareness of this, on 12th septembber , in the village of Gnosall ( stafford) i am doing a sponsored ride. i am riding my 17h shire horse bareback in a basque through the village.
i start at 1pm at the sports club , just after the football match , to grab the footballers attention ! ..and i finish off at the boat inn.
My horse , will be dressed in blue ribbons,feathers, and i will be in a blue basque wig etc. i shall be handing out leaflets, pens and keyrings, and collecting in a bucket any donations anyone may feel generous enough to donate.
I hope i havent gone on too much , but if there is anyone in and around the area of staffs, please come and show your support..god i will need it !
we have grabbed media attention , and this is being filmed, and for all those that donate, i shall be uploading a version on you tube afterwards to clarify i did it !
