Has anyone any experience of using these bareback pads? I have the offer of a second hand (good condition) one to use for my horse. He's 24 and his back is dipping, so hard to fit with a conventional saddle.
My daughter rides him bareback mainly now, and I thought one of these might be good. I have heard they can have pressure points, though I can't see how unless one attaches stirrups.
Any feedback, please

Yes i got one to use to break in a youngster, he had a tendancy to rear so we got this incase he ever went up and over. Mine had a loop at the front that you could hold on to. They are good if there not going to be used alot, the only reason being is that the padding tends to go abit after a while. But it does have to be used a lot for this to happen!!

It will be brill for an elderly horse i should think!!
