I started feeding Pro Balance to my horse recently. How soon would you expect there to be a difference?

He was on an OK diet before, it just needed a bit of fine tuning.

What else is he getting. linseed and hi fibre? no moglo molasses or stuff like that?
I mean what stage are the feet at?
The main thing to me is to set up a regular exercise routine that allows self trimming, using a variety of surfaces, tarmac being ideal on a daily basis.

I asked for experiences as he has been on the new diet for less than a week, but when I rode him yesterday there was a difference. He has been having regular exercise in boots, but nothing else has changed. I thought it was a bit unlikely to be the minerals, but just wondered .....................

Seems a bit "instant" but if you have a look in 4 weeks and can see an event ring, then, I would consider that there has been a dramatic effect, indicating "the missing ingredient" has been discovered!
I would say think that instant changes are more likely due to sugar levels in diet usually a change of grazing.

Nothing else has changed. They are on mostly hay as there is no grass on what is laughingly called "turnout" at the moment. All they can do is pick at the small bits of green trying to grow.
