Horse has been in for 12 days on the trot due to flooded fields (first time in yrs turnout was restricted)
Has hock spavins so nightmare for us but actually he coped great. Rode as much as I could and didn't seem stiff at all.
They went back out as of wed into new unflooded paddocks and these have been rested for a few months so green and nice. They are on restricted turn out at present so 4 hrs a day but my horse is looking really footy, not lame, not hot no pulse just uncomfortable on the hard paths and yard. Haven't ridden yet so not sure how he will be but is this due to the grass and will it settle?
