Hi i have been under a ban from the fat controller for a few months as my computer had a virus. So update on the ponies lameness, after the ddft diagnosis last year. Pony now sound, vet has given him the all clear and i know that we cannot tell how much the tear has mended without another MRI but he is sound, moving well, now cantering for short periods and being worked most days. I am convinced that a large part of his recovery has been down to taking his shoes off, something which i would not have considered probably had it not been for the advice, help and support on this forum. I have looked into his diet, followed an exrecise program and have the results to show for it, a sound happy pony who looks well and feels so good! In fact he is moving better than ever, the walk which was never very good, is forward and swinging and the canter is very active! The only issue i have now is the farrier and the fact that he is still sore after a trim, so that needs addressing but his frogs look much better, and the white line is hardening up so thank you to everyone who gave advice and support, me and the boy are very grateful.
