Barefoot questions

I'm still fairly new to this barefoot stuff.

Rosie is doing fantastically, and I can take her over pretty much any ground we come across, she's on a decent BF diet and he hooves are fairly strong.

Three of her feet seem 'normal' ie the sole is lower down so there is some hoof wall, however on one of her backs the sole and the hoof wall are level ish, there might be a slight 'ridge' but it's hard to tell. She isnt lame of sore on that foot at all so I was just wondering if it's anything to worry about?

And another question regarding frogs, hers are growing and normally look alright but one of them has some frog hanging off (where the frog has grown) will this get worn away like the hoof wall or is it a farrier job to cut it off?

It's alright just to trim it down Make sure you don't cut it too close. Shedding is natural.
I just leave my boys to fall off by themselves.
Stop worrying- from what your saying, she sounds perfect! Maybe stick a wee bit cornecresine on her hoofs and soles, just to keep them nice and moist/strong during the summery season.

I try to makes sure that her feet get abit wet when it's really dry like it has been reccently by wetting the ground around where i feed her etc which seems to be working nicely

If she's out 24/7, the morning dew will do that for you naturally

She doesn't get the benifit of morning dew, she tends to be sparked out on her side during the time the dew is out But with the way the weather has been lately I dont think I need to worry about that!

I've brought her onto the yard tonight to let her feet dry out and wear them down abit as she hasnt been ridden for a couple of weeks
