BAREFOOT TRIMMER - MARKET RESEARCH

Equine Liveries In York, Selby, Scarborough, Whitby, Leeds, Wetherby, Wakefield, Skipton, Ilkley, Otley, Harrogate, Knaresborough, Boroughbridge, Northallerton (& surrounding areas)

I have 2 Welsh ponies, both barefoot. This year, one of the ponies displayed symptoms of low grade laminitis in the front hooves. It was caught early, vet called out and EMS subsequently diagnosed. With a good care plan and health issues addressed, a solid recovery has been made, and said pony now sound, healthy and happy. This experience, coupled with various other equine issues over the years has taught me a great deal, particularly about pathologies in the hoof.

I have recently enrolled on a 2 year Diploma in Equine Podiatry and aim to become a qualified Equine Podiatrist. As part of the course I am required to complete some market research to gain an understanding of the demand for qualified trimmers.

It would be very much appreciated if you could help me. Please could you copy and paste the questions into the comment section, and add your answers 'Yes' or 'No' etc at he end of the sentence?
Thankyou very, very much in advance :)

Probably but I have used my farrier for over 20 years and am more than happy with him trimming and shoeing the horses in my care so have no need to find out.
