Barefoot

For my University course I need to do a portfolio and im going to do mine on barefoot so i was wondering whether you would be kind enough to fill in my survey or comment on any issues you find with a barefoot horse and feeding.

I've done it the best I could, but Q4 doesn't totally work with my situation as I have one horse that had gone from being shod to BF/unshod and two who have never worn shoes.

I also stopped at that point. Horse 1 has never been shod, and horse 2 got the shoes off as soon as they could come off. The rest of the questions just seem rather naive (there's no such thing as a "shod" diet; there's just appropriate and inappropriate diet; "can any horse go barefoot?" depends on so many factors...), and I'm not sure what you're hoping to learn from them. Could you tell us a little about what you're hoping to accomplish with this survey? Perhaps we can make some suggestions...

Very true - the 'BF diet' is really just a sensible diet regardless of shoes/no shoes.
