Bargain horse?

My friend has been to see a horse today which she really likes. She is quite novice but felt confident on him. I'm just a bit curious about how cheap he is. He's got BSJA points and won money and everything. She said the seller sounds very genuine and they just dont have time for him. Can I put the horsemart ref to the ad on here?

Hmm he is quite cheap - could just be that they want a really nice home for him
My advice would be to try well (with instuctor or similar) and vet well (ie 5 stage)

Looks very nice to me, not all horses have something wrong with them just because they are priced lower than you would think. If your friend really likes him, maybe she should have another ride, if everything still the same, go for it but have it vetted to be sure.

She does really like him. I'm going with her to see him again tomorrow night so will see how he goes. She said he is priced that low because they really want to sell him and nobody wanted him at a higher price.

Screams too cheap to me. Sorry Im forever the pessimist (sp) but after being bitten hard more than once I now think you almost always get what you pay for. I really hope he is ok as he looks lovely but I'd want a full 5 stage vetting.
