Can anyone give me any tips on best place to advertise a horsebox for sale very cheaply???

I have put it on adtrader etc but not had much interest. Its in really good condition but has no tax or MOT so am only asking £500 for it as it HAS to be moved.
Do you think the fact its so cheap is putting people off it??

ooo i'm looking for a horsebox!!! can you tell me about it and do you know how to put piccys up?

best way to advertise is horsemart, an dhorseandhound is good, autotrader wont really get much attention i think. price might be off putting but if piccys are go and people are alowed to view it it shouldnt be aproblem, it's funny that people complain when it's too expensive an dwont look if it's too cheap.

i advise putting everything you know about it in the add, sell it best as poss, cant stand it when people only write a few sentences about it i think "do you WANT to sell this box?"

Cant attach piccies as no camera!
Dont want to go down the route of having to pay for advertising as am only wanting £500 for horsebox so not worth paying for!.
I'm in North Yorskhire so if anyone knows of someone who might be interested then let me know asap as it has to be sold before March!!
I would have thought someone would have snapped it up by now cos it will make a really good cheap horsebox!

Yes have tried putting ads up in tack shops - have had a few phonecalls but not had anyone actually come and see it yet which is a shame because if they saw it they would buy it!
I i had more time i would get it taxed and MOT then try and sell it.

There is horsebox person near me in Newcastle who buy old boxes and attaches the to newer chassies and engines. I wonder if you could find someone near you like that who might buy if off you

Have looked around my area but cant find anyone who does up old horseboxes.

It is a D reg Ford Transit which will take 2 x 15.2hh. Its cheap to run and starts first time and has never broken down. It has been stood for the last year and just used for storing hay in. It has to be sold now as we no longer need it and it has to be moved from where it is parked.
It wont take a lot to be able to put it through an MOT (might need a new battery) and then it would be a really usefull little box for someone.
If anyone is interested please ring 07890359626 and arrange to come and see it as it is a real bargain!

I would stick it on ebay with no starting price and a very low reserve. The fact that it has no MOT will put a lot of people off I am afraid. You may know that it will pass, but to a buyer they will be worried that it will cost them a lot of money.

lack of tax and MOT is what puts people off, personally i would tax and MOT it then put it on ebay, with 12 months ticket on it and 6 months tax you would probably get more than 500 for it
