Ok, bargain hunters & clever money saving people now's your chance to show off to us all 
Who here has got a bargain manège, how did you build it & what did it cost?
I'm wondering if anyone can beat someone I know who has managed to get a fab 20x40 arena for £3,000
To be fair her land is fairly flat, not particularly free draining though. She did the groundworks herself. She has used a recycled drainage layer,I think she said it was broken up brick but that might not be correct. A membrane that she somehow got cheap. Her surface is a sand rubber mix that she got for £500, her friend lived next door to someone who had bought a house with equestrian facilities & wanted rid of the manège to build a swimming pool!
Whilst the construction might not be perfect it rides lovely & is standing up well to the recent wet weather.
