Bargins or waste of money

Never knew Tesco did horsey stuff until the other month but it is very rare they ever have any equine stuff in - so couldn't comment on the quality - sorry

My mum bought a fleece rug when they were half price and I can honestly say it was such good quality and I have since bought another. I have fleeces by EquiNox, Masta, etc and it is twice as good as any of those. I have heard similar things about the rugs on here, I haven't got nay other stuff so can't comment but I recommend the fleece rugs 100%.

When they had the stuff instore I bought a hat, grooming kit, headcollar & leadrope, numnah, girth & brushing boots. No problems with any of it. That said I don't think the full price items are very good value

I have two of their quilted fleece rugs, the cut is good and am generally pleased with the quality, at £28 each they work just as well as a thermatex at a fraction of the price. Also have their stable bandages (bought in sale in store), very pleased with them as they are actually long enough to do proper stable bandages right down from the knee/hock to the coronary band.

I got some half chaps and a lightweight rug from their in-store sale. I actually prefer the rug to her amigo, and it still in very good condition. The chaps have been worn every day since I got them, and they still come up like new after a wash!

fernando where abouts are you? Am going to PM as i am in wicklow too.

Not sure about shipping to here. not an issue for me as OH is from yorkshire so we just get stuff sent to his family if we have that problem.

I've got a light weight turnout and it was fantastic in the autumn. It was reduced so Mum got it for £8 something! It's a great fit and no leaks.

I bought a rug for a serial rug destroyer just to keep the wet off them. It's still going strong 6 months on in the middle of a filthy winter.

It's so far beaten off my Rambo that's been shredded. Poor thing.

I've not bought any of their stuff as there isn't one near me. I would imagine most of it would be good quality as Tesco wouldn't want to be associated with poorly manufactured stuff. I think they will keep to a fairly small range otherwise they'd need suitably qualified staff serving.

maybe we should campaign for the larger horse

Oh had a look at website, don't think they ship to ireland. Other thing is that they will sent out items for next day collect from a tesco store. Just for those of you that said you haven't seen them stock the stuff in their shops.
