I used them on my old guy and I can't say I noticed a big difference to him. Plus if I mix them with his other feed he eats round them and leaves them. But must only like them when they have gone a bit soggy cos he eats them later on during the day. The top spec conditioning flakes are nice and smell good too. And mine loves them. He has put a little bit of weight on but has gone onto a different field so it could be that. But at 39 years of age I don't think he is ever going to be a fatty again so I think personally I would stuggle to find anything that puts weight on him.

i tried barley rings with one of mine and she alomst exploded with hyperness they didnt just heat her they over heated her. Another one of mine thrives on them boiled bruised barley is excellent in winter as its nice and warm poor boiling water over the barley then bung it in the microwave for 15 mins allow to cool! Just be careful when fgeeding barley as some horses are allergic to it.
