Barley Rings

Hi everyone I've changed my horses feed and lowered haylage so I've added about half a scoop of barley rings into his feed. I was wondering how long people soak the rings for as this is one of the only feeds I've never really used before?

You can feed BR either dry or damp whichever your horse prefers but most like them damp.
I'll use warm water (not boiling) and soak for half hour before use but if cold water they take longer to break up so I'd usually soak them after I've fed the meal before (else I tend to forget I haven't done them - my excuse, old age!)

I feed them in a treat ball so don't soak.

My friend soaks them for 24hrs, just because we feed same time every day, only need a couple of minutes usually.
