Does anyone know what has happened to the Barn Shop? has it gone into Administration??

That's interesting. It changed hands in 2007 when the Carter's sold it to a lovely couple- but not been there since I left Longstowe.

The 'old' barn shop was brilliant, then once taken over went from brilliant to rubbish and they never have stock or anything really. Such a shame really. I have no idea if it has closed but it was closed all weekend and then they were open at the feed entrance to sell feed for cash but nothing from the shop and no entry to the shop. It was mentioned that there was a stock take this week but on FB it seems no one can get hold of anyone there and a lot of people have second hand items in there................ Just would like to know if it has closed or if it is just a stock take.

Yes apparently it has gone into administration.
I never really bought anything there as I found it to be quite expensive, but it is a shame and I would never wish that upon a business.

O that's a shame. I used to go and buy Christmas presents and stuff there. Or if I wanted to treat myself.
