Thinking of purchasing new bridle with the magnetic headpiece. Quite expensive but happy to consider if successful. Have a tense TB mare and interested to hear from anyone who has tried this product or anything else recommended. Appreciate feedback. Thks

If you search the forum there is a long post about them. Premier equine have ones that you can add onto your bridle for a fraction of the price which personally I would opt to try first.

I think magnets are a personal thing , some will say there is no medical evidence they work so they can't/don't, others will say they worked on their horse.....

I use mag boots on my horses hind legs because he is old. Something works as he does seem less stiff. Could be the mags could be the fact his legs are kept warm ..... Don't know but happy to see he moves better after a winters night in his stable.

I got a really cheap barnsby magnetic headpiece off ebay, in an attempt to calm my horse when we was a naughty youngster. Cant say it particularly worked, but I still put it on his headcollar sometimes and it only cost a few quid...

I've had some interesting personal experiences with magnets BUT in one instance a friend gave me one to put in a pillow and it gave me the most colossal headache. I'd say it also made me quiet but not for pleasant reasons! If you believe that things work you have to at least entertain the possibility that the effect might sometimes be negative! I'd definitely say try a cheaper option first.
