Does anyone have one?
Any good/worth the money?
On the website I was looking at it said it was to use on top of a conventional saddle cloth and I just wondered why?

Surely the horse would lose some of the comfort the sheepskin would provide if used in this way??

I've got a Bartle dressage square with the sheepskin lining. We don't use anything under it, can't see the point. The saddle sits well, it looks fantastic & the quality is exceptional. They are expensive but you can see the quality in them. I've a Stephens & a Fusion but I think the Bartle is the best.

I have bought their own Biosol for washing it in but haven't needed to do that yet. Check out the difference between their site & ebay & see if you can get them cheaper. Good Luck

I have just spent a couple of weeks debating which saddle pad to get. I loved the Bartl one, but in the end went for Nuumed as soooo many people recommended Nuumed to me. I have to say I think I have made the right choice, it is not too thick and bulky under the saddle and he seems lovely and comfortable with it. Not too much sweating.
Hard decision to make though, - oh Nuumed are slightly cheaper if that helps

Well apparently the bartl is sheepSKIN and the Nuumed is wool that is attached to the cotten pad. The sheepskin can become heavy as sweat is soaked into it and apparently doesnt breath as well as the wool attached to cotten.
Seems like personal choice at the end of the day as there are good arguments for both. Loving my Nuumed though !!

Nuumed are super - I have 3, half pad, gp and dressage, They are very comfy for the horses and wick away sweat + wash easily. The Bartl half pad I have looks pretty but does not 'perform' as well.

I want whatever is going to be most comfortable for my horse -she's not a big sweater but I wouldn't think it would be that comfy if she got very hot under there.

I have 2 of the stephens sheepskin saddle pads, I use one alone on one horse, the other I use between saddlecloth and saddle, this is just because the horse Im using it on is a bit undereight so the sheepskin is that extra cushioning layer for him.

I have a black 'cottage craft' real merino sheepskin saddle pad I use for everyday cost just £28 and my bartl I use for showjumping etc. Cost me £48 on ebay so the only reason I keep it for best is the price, cant really say much difference in them performance wise?
