Basal Cell tumour

Has anyone else on here ever had a horse or pony with a basal cell tumour? They are very rare in horses and is a human form of cancer.
We had a horse with one - fully recovered - but just wondered.

Well not a horse, but my old Cat Sophie (bless her sole!) had one removed on her head, years and year ago and they said it may come back, and it did after a while and started to fill up with pus and it was regularly syringed off .... she lived to over 19 years old

I was told it was not malignant
