I was just wondering what people use for bases when they use field shelters converted into stables? For instance, Redmire does these temporary stable conversion kits for their field shelters. Obviously for a proper concrete base you need planning permission which defeats the whole purpose of erecting one of these in the first place.

I need to put some sort of stabling up quickly while we wait for planning permission so interested to hear. Thank you :)

Hippo tiles?

They're advertised as good temporary bases, liquid drains through them whilst it provides a firm base. I'd ring them for more details, but my friend had it done for her field shelter and swears by them.

Solo1 thank you very much, that sounds perfect! I will give them a call tomorow.

YasandCrystal thank you, I was trying to tell someone this but they seemed to think the whole thing would just start sinking into a gooey mess?! Its only for a pony anyway.
