Bates Caprilli All Purpose

Has anyone got one/had one/ridden in one and could you tell me what they are like? Any opinions good or bad will be appreciated

A friend of mine had one and thought it was a very nice comfortable saddle, only problem was that one of the cair panels slowly deflated. Took it back to saddlers and they said that there had been a prob with it but soon sorted it out, wasnt very impressed as it wasnt very old. May well have been a one off incident though.

I had one just sold it as it was surplus to requirements but it was a fab saddle! Very comfy, secure, smart looking and the changable gullets were a huge bonus. Definately recommend

We bought a beautiful bates caprilli event saddle off ebay, but unfortunately didnt fit. would have used it for sparrow except its two tone brown and he made it look an icky colour, hes always a black tack horse. They are beautiful saddles but unfortunately ours is having to be sold
