Bates Caprilli cc jump

im regretably having to get rid of my hawk event as it is too narrow for my horse. im looking at a second hand bates caprilli cc jump. i like the idea of the adjustable width. problem i have with my jeffries is im short and find the flaps a bit long for my little legs, the flaps on the bates look shorter. anyone had experience of this saddle, good or bad??

I have this saddle. I am 5'3" and struggle to find saddle which fit my short legs yet the bates Caprilli CC it fits me really well.

Pity it doesn't fit the horse anymore! Just be aware that even though the gullet is adjustable the shape of the tree isn't, so if the tree shape doesnt fit your horse, no matter what size the gullet is, it aint going to fit!

Have one in the yard, it is probably the most uncomfortable saddle I have ever sat in and I have ridden in many, there are sure to be others that love them but no one else here that has ridden it likes it.
