I always wanted one... A couple of years ago, I bought one... Now, although it fits Ben, it's not the right saddle and I am considering selling it... It's going to be a few years before I need such a saddle for him and its so forward cut it interferes with my riding him... It's just not right. What would you sell/be prepared to pay for a decent but used bates elevation saddle with cair... £1300 new? I need to know so I can budget for a purchase of a replacement saddle.

Thanks. X

Anyone? I paid £500 for it... But that was a few years ago, I can't find any adverts for a bates elevation saddle out there at the moment and so I have no idea what the going rate is... I haven't even decided on selling it so this isn't an ad, but I'd really appreciate some ideas on price....

Pretty please :)

There are a few floating around in internet archives for £800-1k, but those are second hand, not third. Personally, I would happily pay £500 for it.

Ideal, that's great! Thank you! I love it but it scoots my leg forward and it's just not right for what we want to do at the moment. I was hoping it had held its value with the market being so dire!

The elevation is definitely worth £500 if in good condition. I just paid £800 for a 2nd hand elevation ds+ which is £1500 new

Ideal, that's fab :). It's good condition, slight fading on the seat but that's it... I'm considering replacing it with a working hunter saddle from the saddle company. Will break my heart though :( I love it, but its just not quite right for us :( :(

I bought a new model 17" black Elevation DS (deep seat), cair, interchangeable gullet, approx 2 months ago for £1499. I now have to sell it and the saddler said I should hope to get around £1000 for it if sold privately, ie not via a tack shop. Losing £500 so soon hurts like hell but I'd be chuffed if I did get the £1000 back.

Yep, that's what I have.... They are lovely saddles... Wish bates did a working hunter!
