Bates Innova / Bates Momentum

Hi ,
has anyone got either at the moment ?
Are they as nice to ride in as said to be ?
Considering buying , but would like to hear peoples opinions on them ??

really really really like them and desperatly need decent saddle for horsie , as getting rather embarresd riding in pony's 16" wintec

personally think the innova looks silly but its OK ish to ride in... not my 1st choice of dressage saddles... I do like bates saddles though as have a close contact caprilli...

I have an innova, i've had it nearly a year now. It is an absolute asset to my riding. I had some difficulties with my lower legs, they always seemed to creep forward, bought the innova and it corrected my leg line immediately. I find it absolutely beautiful to ride in and 100% safe. I have a pony that is a little unsettled most of the time and when she was bucking and twisting recently i didn't feel like i would fall off at any stage. It is an incredible saddle for all riders. I am now riding at advanced/Prix st George level in Australia and the pirouettes are comfortable and smooth. If you are short from the hip to the knee you should purchase the standard contour block, if tall then go with the extended. Goodluck with your decision.
