HELP im looking to get my 3 and a hlf yr old a bates isabell( as its changable and has cair system) but can any tell me there points as they are expensive and none of my local saddlery stock them for me to try any ideas???
I bought a new Bates Isobell Werth last year for my shire who was 4 at the time and is in a medium. It fitted better than any other saddle on the yard, almost as if it was made for him. He is currently going through the 'Kevin' stage where he will use his shoulder to evade and last week he fell in the school (all 18.2hh of him) ~ this saddle has saved lives! We also use it on a 10 yo IDx who can be difficult. A very comfortable saddle and holds you in place (more so with the large knee rolls).
The best Dressage saddle I have ever used, I have had Jaguar, Frank baines, kiefer, Ideal Jessica and I also have a WoW for my younger dressage horse but the Isabell is by far the best, it sits superbly on every horse I put it on and when I am teaching novice riders it puts them in a superb position too. Fantastic!! The leather version is not quite so comfortable and is not, in my opinion quite so good!
