Bates saddles fitting wide gullet range?

Have had the saddler out and she suggested the wintec 500 cob however i HATE the look, feel and riding in it. She said i need an xxw gullet so im wondering if a bates elevation pony jump saddle will take these gullets, thank you

Is it especially a cob saddle or is it just a bates with cob gullets

If your spending that sort of money on a saddle I would rather something non-adjustable and fitted to my pony. Unless your expecting them to change shape?

I used adjustable saddles until the Hipo had full matured and didn't have a problem but I honestly feel its much better and more comfortable to have a saddle you and your pony "fit".

- although bates innova dressage is rather comfy!

I had the saddler out and almost cried when she said i should get a wintec. Thinking of getting a thorowgood as those go up to xxw. Pony on weight loss, but not got much in the way of fat pads around her withers but dont want to get something that will be too wide later on. Got her coming out again on suday with some non adjustable saddles though

You'll need to check with a pro, basically not all the Bates range can accommodate the XW gullets, it's only specific ranges that do
