bates saddles (jumping) and wintec.... any experts?

hey peeps,

am looking at a wintec close contact jumping saddle and also the bates caprilli close contact.

does anyone know if these are pretty much the same saddle?

also, does anyone know if the bates event saddles are actually more forward cut than the caprilli close contact?

i have a long thigh bone, looking for something to accomodate..

I have the same problem (stupid legs! gah), and I own a bates Caprilli close contact, and I adore it

love the knee rolls especially xD
And I think it's pretty much the same as the wintec, prehaps the wintec lacks the lovely squishy knee rolls though

I have long thigh bone and found my knees went over the edge of the knee rolls on the Bates JumpingClose Contact. However, I tried a horse once who had on a Bates Event saddle and it was just right.

i have the close contact[ up for sale] and i find it fine leg wise

I have the wintec close contact, have the same problem normally as have abnormally long thigh bones too... I have absolutely no problem and love it
