Bateson Trailers :- Great Service !

Just had to say what great service I’ve just had from Bateson Trailers. I drove down the motorway with my Deauville on the back & the jockey wheel hadn’t been secured tightly enough….Oops

& it dropped down onto the road…. After a few miles basically the centre bush on the wheel had disintegrated & the wheel was well crocked.

I emailed Bateson late that night, they phoned me back the next day & said they could send me a replacement wheel. They took my details & 24 hours later the new wheel arrived. I can’t praise them highly enough.

I wanted to post this as so many people post moans & groans about companies & the service they receive or don’t receive, me included, that some great service is well worth shouting about.

I have found them excellent too. I needed a new ramp board and some other bits and instead of charging me deliver they added them to another order and I got them the next day, very impressed

Me too, I took my trailer to the factory in Stockport and within a couple of hours they'd put me a new floor in and serviced it. At the same time I bought two full width breast bars, a couple of weeks later some of the welding came loose on one of the bars, no problem - they just sent me a replacement free of charge

Totally agree - they are brilliant. We had a problem with our Ascot of the pin things loosening during transit so at one point the door over the front ramp flew open! They immediately sent us 2 clips for free which did the job perfectly. They have also offered great advice to us with regard to one of my horses who has reared and got stuck over the breast bar several times..... They say with their experience of horses doing this, best thing to do is put the bar in upside down so its easily released with downward pressure

We also ordered a part from them only last week - we ordered it about 3pm then it arrived the very next morning.
