Hi, I was just wondering what people put on their horses after they have bathed them in the winter and summer. I have worked on a few yards over the years and some rug up and cover every exposed bit where as others put t/o back on and put the out. Would like to hear what people do =) xx Thanks

At the moment i don't put anything on her after a bath. I can't think that the horse is comfortable with a fleece on in this weather.

In this weather I either put back naked or with fly rug back on (rambo flybuster, they don't absorb water, wouldn't put a fabric/cotton one on). In the winter I put in stable with a thermatex to dry and then re-rug. After hunting when bathed though they are usually very tired and get cold easily (its usually bloody freezing and early evening too) so its about 3 or 4 layers of thermatex and fleeces and probably a neck cover of some description plus being bandaged to the eyeballs anyway- cant see much horse on those days!

As others nothing in summer when warm, in winter I have a thermatex type rug with neck and usually put a thermatex on top of that! Also have the thermatex leg wraps, they are brilliant!
