Battery powered clippers

Can you get any battery powered clippers that are good enough for clipping a cob with a thick coat??

I do have some mains powered clippers, which are ok. But the way our yard is set up, its a bit of a pain! Need a long extension cable, and if I wanted to clip in the stable I would need two extension cables joined together to get that far.
Which means I have to wait for A) A perfectly dry day with no wind and B) I need a time when there are no liveries there as we're in the way quite a bit!

I would love some clippers that can just attatch to a power pack round the waist but do they make them heavy duty enough?

I've got the liveryman harmony one's, they seem to have mixed reviews, but where fine for my arab.

Plus it was lovely not having to constantly watch for the cable getting in the way.

IME battery pack clippers are as useless as a nun in a punch-up.

Had some Liveryman Harmony, they wouldn't have shaved the bum-fluff off a baby let alone a horse's coat.

Had my boy clipped professionally a few weeks ago: the girl was using a battery-powered clipper, can't remember what it was, but it certainly didn't give as good a result as mains powered.

Tho' do appreciate that for safety, battery-packs are much safer. But its finding a decent one that's the problem.

I've had Lister Liberty clippers for seven years now - my husband uses them to clip his mega-furry yeti cob and always gets excellent results. No complaints at all.
