Battery powered lights?

I'm sure years ago Robinsons used to sell a battery powered light that looked a bit like a lantern, you could just hang them and use as a stable light? I would like to get one or something similar to use in my field shelter, if any one has any ideas?

Put camping lights into ebay search that where I got some!

I've got a rechargeable lantern with fluorescent tubes in it. It lasts forever on one charge and gives out about as much light as an ordinary 40 watt bulb. It was £19.99 and I got it in one a local hardware-type shop.

I have no elect at all in my stable and use a Coleman Electric Northstar Lantern with Night Light with rechargable batteries and it is brilliant! Even though it says 'electric' it is not and only uses batteries...just in case you wondered!

Hi

I got two of these last year for the same purpose and they are really useful. They also have a remote control like a key ring so great for switching on before I get the gate opened!!!

We got them in Argos in the camping section (check out their catalogue or give them a call to see if they still stock them) They were green and cost around £20 each
