I have bedazzled lighting.
You have a rechargeable torch that you plug in to the light cord and the light illuminates the stable, I have a chain of six that work off one torch. If you rig them up to a car battery instead of the torch the light is almost as good as mains.
Years ago my OH bought a strip light that ran off a car battery. He fitted it to the stable ceiling and ran the cable outside. The cable was attached to the battery with crocodile clips. I am sure you can still get the lights. You need a battery charger too.
An example I think. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Interior-L...2902222&sr=8-17&keywords=12+volt+light+strips
I've run my yard 'off grid' for many years, I only require a generator for random clipping, but these days prefer to pay a friend with cordless clippers. All stables and the 2 x field shelters close to the yard have good lighting run off leisure or car batteries which are topped up by solar panels
