BAY MARE FOUND NORTH BEDFORDSHIRE

Approx 16hh mid to heavy weight hunter type, bay mare. Two long white socks to off and near hind. White blaze crooked over muzzle. Fully clipped and fit!!! Fully shod! Wearing faded green nylon/webbing headcollar.

Impressioin from horse is it has been hunted this season and obviously turned out out to be let down gently. (excellent jumper!!! clearing five bar gates with ease much to friends disgust!!!) Very friendly and easy to handle (once calmed down after galloping round the Bedfordshire country side! with two police cars and multiple people on foot!)


Mare now safely being cared for in overnight stabling. Uninjured.

So if you know of anyone who happens to have lost their horse, ring Bedfordshire Police for contact numbers for its return!

This is a lovely horse that WILL be missed by its owner tomorrow!!! But if not, it will stay at temp accomadation until reunited with owner and will ask Admin to sticky this on monday should horse still be in friends care.....

Mare still not been reunited with owner.... Mare not recognised by anyone in vicinity. Police now checking neighbouring counties (Northants and Bucks)

Passport will have to be produced to collect this horse.

It has been suggested that the police arrange for a Microchip Scanner as no visible freezemark.

Someone somewhere must know this horse!!!!

Someone contacted Beds Police late last night, so hopefully she will be reunited with her owner later today!!!
