Apologies - have posted in Veterinary by mistake - I don't do this often enough. Anyway, re BBC sports reporting - why do they give so much time and analysis to failure. Michael Whittaker has just had a great SJ win in Aachen and Charlotte Dujardin an amazing freestyle dressage to music win but not one single mention on the Beeb which is, as usual, navel gazing about our failures. Surely in this London Olympic year any sporting win is worthy of at least a mention. Shame on the BBC.:(:(

and how sad is it that reports are not concentrating on how well Andy Murray has done, only that he cried! So what!!!

Its because Equestrianism, other than racing, is a minority sport of which no-one other than us is interested in.

Sad but true.

And lets not jump the gun here, but what do we think are the chances of any of our dressage riders making the Sports Personality of the Year shortlist!!

Lets face at one time the BBC was great on all sports, jumping, raceing ect:-But several years ago they had Head managers how didn't and still don't give a toss about sport in any shape or form. They lost the National,Derby, show jumping and a lot more, what have they left the motor sport which is a waste of time and my money and the tennis which I hate.

Why worry ??? let them put what they want on the idiots lantern, anyway there's always Horse&county TV great if you have the memory of a goldfish and as a result are able to enjoy the endless repeats :D

Yea but isn't Horse and Country on Sky and you have to subscribe to? I resent paying my TV licence and having Football non stop rammed down my throat - why? They have 2 or 3 designated channels on Sky so why put minor games on main stream TV?

I think it would be a great idea if Sky did a Pay As You Go system as the basic package only gives a couple of channels I am interested in but lots of football channels which I AM NOT INTERESTED IN!! :( :( :(

Heads up!!! if you get a free sat box and dish (I got mine from B&Q) you can get H&C TV
along with allsorts of weird channels absulutly free.....

You can buy sky packages and ask to have the sports channels taken off or only put on when the season is over? That way you miss all the games. H&Ctv doesn't count as a sport channel anyway.
As a football ticket holder as well I love having the games to watch but do sympathise for those who have to avoid it.
But its no different from having bloody soaps on all the time!
