BD am I being a bit thick?

Right I've finally done it and become a member of BD

How do I register my horse? Can you do it online or do I have to print off the form and fill it in by hand and post it?

I had this problem, I seem to remember that if your horse has not been registered before, you can't do that part online, or can't do it at the same time... I ended up calling them.

What about the open and restricted sections?

The open and restricted rections are for the rider not the horse - so depending on what level you have got points at in the last few years will depend if you are an open or restricted rider. As it sounds as if you are new to BD, you should be in the restricted section in everything - unless you have competed BE above a certain level, in which case you may be in the open sections in some of the lower levels. It tells you in the Rules book if you can find the relevant section....
