BD Counter canter?

Hi guys.

Me and my pony have really cracked counter canter and I would like to know at what BD level it appears (I mean full on counter canter, not just the little loops/half circles in elementary)

If you don't think a 1/2 circle in counter canter is proper counter canter what do you consider it to be?

There used to be a counter canter around the short side at elementary level (so a 1/2 circle) but that test is no longer used so counter canter around a corner other than on a loop is not introduced until Medium level.

Many thanks, sorry I should have worded that differently, by a half circle I meant a half circle back to the track (leaving you in counter canter for just a few strides down the long side)
