I know you have to win two classes with over 65% one being a qualifier. Would my win at area festival count? Haven't competed in any other yet this time as been so busy and it would mean I could just aim at one win, what do you think?

..... I think it's probably because they are not open to everyone, ie you must have qualified to be in the AF, so it's like the Regionals in that they are not qualifiers for anything other than the Champs.

BD Rule 141 k) Area Festivals carry grading points but do not count as qualifiers
in anyway (except for the Festival Final).

Yes its great having an expert on the forum. Technically it is a qualifying class, this is where the BD rules get confusing though.

Ok I really must go and study the rule book, so many things seem to have passed me by!

We just haven't had any time to do any, doing Spillers tomorrow, could have done a qualifier there today but wanted to keep him fresh for tomorrow, they also have some on Sunday but its little ones 2nd birthday.Going to Solihull and Swallowfield so if its to be ,it will be.

Bananaman is spot on with both the rule and the rationale.

A win in an AF class cannot be counted as the non-qualifier part qualification, however a win in a non AF warm-up class can.
